OOOOOOOOoooooh! Look at that green! I painted my first camera in 2017 after being drawn to them over and over again in all the places I would see them, and I began to see them EVERYWHERE!

They just seemed to come out of the woodwork.
I am drawn to the shiny metal components, worn-out and rusty metal components, the lenses and their reflections, as well as the purpose they once had. As I look back on where I was in my own life at the time it now all makes sense. After being a full-time mom for 21 years, three of my five children graduated from high school and started off on their own adventures... my other 2 were not too far behind. It seemed to be a time of self-reflection. Am I JUST a Mom? If all my kiddos leave, what is my purpose? I was painting the lens of the camera, staring right into my soul over and over again as I was trying to figure out my own life.
I have painted over 50 camera paintings to date, and I am still not sure I am done, as I am still trying to figure myself out.
Camera lovers will love this classic camera! This statement piece does not disappoint with its bold brushstrokes and fun color.
This is an original 30" x 24" Oil painting on gallery-wrapped canvas with a painted edge.
Ready to hang with a wire hanger attached to the back.
