The mind is a curious thing.
It decides which memories deserve endless airtime,
turning the volume up until the past drowns out the present.
But hidden among the static are other tracks.
The people who stayed.
The unexpected kindness.
The moments of joy I almost forgot.
So I keep listening.
Because somewhere between the noise and the heartbreak,
