When I was a child, the holiday season was filled with all kinds of excitement and anticipation. To this day it is my favorite time of year, and I never want to lose that feeling...the joy, the fun, the feeling of togetherness. It gradually turned into the excitement of wanting my own kiddos to experience the same feelings in these magical days. It's often when I play Scrabble with my mom that I'm reminded of all these things. Playing together, we can hear the kiddos laughing as they play ping pong, pool, or explore their newly opened gifts in the next room... there is just nothing better. Well, the not-so-easy task of winning against my Mom wouldn't hurt, HA!
