Day 12 of the 30 paintings in 3o days. Another camera for today. I sure do like these old cameras and love the play with the shadows and reflections. The straps on this one was fun to twist around.
Woohoo! We are one third of the way through this 30 paintings in 30 days challenge. I feel like I am feeling tired and I am starting to slow down a little bit . . . BUT. . . . I will persist and I will continue on! These old cameras are just so fun to paint and I am loving all the different color combinations that I am forcing myself to work with as well.
This is the camera that I painted a few days ago that reflected the smoky days were were having outside. This is closer to the color palette that I had in mind for it but I am still not happy with it. Sigh... Maybe it is the darn camera that I am struggling with. I think it is time to put this one away for a while and maybe revisit it in the future. We will see what tomorrow brings!
Oh my goodness! I am loving the pops of color in this one. I was a little afraid to jump into this one when I put together my color palette... but it turned out better than I imagined! These cranes are so much fun to paint and it makes it more exciting to add different color combinations.
We are on day 8 of the 30 paintings in 30 days.
Have I mentioned how much I love these folded pieces of paper?!? I love that I have a box of them that I kept after my kids folded them, and i can dig through and remember little clips from our past. Life has had me so busy lately... and I need to remember to give myself some calm moments to reflect on what i am grateful for.
I keep meaning to have a blog... it will most likely get neglected... Hang in there people,.. I am trying!
